Bernadette Tatlock is the  Director of Children’s Community and has been serving alongside her husband Mike in ministry for the past 16 years. They have been at Grace Chapel since 2005. She has felt called and gifted to minister to families and children at her church as well as in the community. Her heart is to partner with parents in raising their children with a love for Christ, and showing children who Christ can be for them personally. She lives in Wilsonville with her husband and two children: Mikiah and Jadon. She enjoys hosting many different events in her home, cooking, and spending time with her family. Her passion is to show families what a community can accomplish together in raising our children, and in that meeting the needs and ministering to each other holistically.


Meredith Malkowski is the K-5th grade Director in the Children’s Community. She lives in Canby with 3 other roommates and has a dog and cat. Before coming on full time at Grace in 2010, she taught in the 4th-5th grade classroom. Working with kids especially in church and camp settings has been a passion of Meredith’s since she was in jr. high. Meredith’s favorite thing about working in Kidventure is not only the amazing kids and the parents that love them, but volunteers that give each Sunday (and more!) to make sure these kids get to go deeper in their relationship with Jesus!

 As the Director of Infant/Toddler Community, Brittany Turco is passionate about children and feels that the love and care we provide to our little ones has a huge impact on their future. She is excited to work with such amazing leaders and parents and feels blessed to be a part of what God is doing in Children’s Ministry at Grace Chapel. Brittany and her husband, Joe, have lived in Wilsonville and attended Grace Chapel since 2006. They have three young children, Colby, Emmalyn and Lilliah, and are all native Oregonians. In her spare time, Brittany enjoys cooking & baking, crafting and learning about photography.

Jill Burke is the Director of Preschool Community for Kidventure. Jill is  married to Jay and they have two beautiful children, a preschooler named Audrey, and a toddler named Payton. Jill keeps busy between raising her kids and working in children’s ministry. She loves working with young children and has served in Children’s ministry for the past 5 years! With a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education, Jill’s passion is to teach children about the love of Christ and watch them grow into their own relationships with Him. During any spare time, Jill enjoys scrapbooking and playing basketball.
